The unit looks awesome and the leds for input and output levels are a nice touch. The lack of digital connections on a unit at this price is surprising, however, and coupled with the fact that there’s no additional software monitoring, it doesn’t feel as well spec’d as similarly-priced alternatives.
Though it’s made of plastic, it seems very durable, and is pretty heavy for it’s size. Unfortunately, the U22 acts as ionxi dongle, so don’t expect Pantheon II to work without the interface attached.
You won’t find any form of digital audio connectivity either. To start, the installation of the drivers was very easy on Windows Vista, though it did take a while.
